Needles, belly, happy pills

1. I haven't been feeling well and yesterday I called in sick and went to my Dr. He immediately wanted to take blood, and instead of getting all jittery about it (I'm a huge needle-phobe), I was calm as anything - even though he always takes it from my hand because he can't ever find a vein. I am so thankful to have been anxiety free for my needle!

2. My stomach has been bothering me, and while it was again this morning, it isn't really hurting too much now, I am so happy and thankful that my belly has stopped hurting.

3. On my visit to the Dr y'day, I told him I had a fear of flying and that I would be taking a trip this weekend. I asked him for some happy pills, and he very willingly wrote me a prescription for a few. I am SO FREAKING GRATEFUL for my dr! lol!

What are YOU thankful for?

(Tell me in your comments!)

1. Museums on a rainy day...can't beat that! Especially when your daughter wakes up & says, "I can't go to the park because it's raining, momma!" So, off we went, just a stone's throw away to the Museum of Natural History with our buddies from the building.

2. So thankful that my daughter is napping right now! Yesterday was a no nap day & WOW was it a looooooong day!! ALWAYS thanful for those naps!

3. Our daughter is totally hooked up with school & classes for the Fall! HOORAY!! Not an easy thing to do in NYC...way too many kids & not enough quality places...but, we are SET!! VERY THANKFUL for that!

I'm afraid of flying too. I take Gravol and it knocks me flat. Better to be asleep when I die, I figure....JUST KIDDING, SWEETIE! You will be fine! Besides, I need you here to keep me thankful! :-) Now, for what I am thankful for:

1) The cool breeze outside my window.

2) I am going on a date with my hubby Friday night and I'm SO excited about it.

3) Great authors. There is NOTHING like a great author to keep me happy....:-)
